DescriptionHuaxtec seated figure of light buff clay with black paint decoration. Hands resting on knees, legs crossed. Wearing a headdress, earrings, arm bands and a loin cloth. From Northern Veracruz (Mayan language). Historic period-white with black paint effigies. Quetzlcoatl may have originated with Huaxteca (feathered serpent culture hero).
