DescriptionTorso of a figure wearing a nemes with a ureaus at the center. The uraeus is a representation of a sacred serpent as an emblem of supreme power, worn on the headdresses of ancient Egyptian dieties and sovereigns. The statue is broken at waist height, but the folded arms reveal that figure was most likely seated. The eyes are protruding, the forehead rather short and the eyebrows little marked.
