DescriptionAn engraving depicting the Orphan Asylum which was established after the Yellow Fever Scourge in 1855 with funds remaining after expenses of Portsmouth Relief Association had been met ($85,000 was raised at the epidemic time). (This information was provided by Marshall W. Bulti, during his talk to the Portsmouth Rotary Sept. 29, 1955.)
