DescriptionThis is an ambrotype of Maria Orgain Powell, the great-great-grandmother of the lender, who died at the age of 102 in about 1865. The ambrotype is in poor condition, fading and spotted. The case is broken in two at the hinge, leather worn and leather on the back loose at two sides.
