DescriptionHopi Kachina doll used in religious & other ceremonies. Carved of wood. Stands in a crouching position. Painted chalk white. Knees & wrists tied with straw. Straw crossed & looped around shoulders & under arms on pegs. Left fist closed. Pointed ears. Fox or wolf nose. Round red, white & black eyes. Main colors white, black & mustard.
