DescriptionLacy plate of pressed colorless glass. Octagonal cap ring with eight large circles at the corners and three smaller circles between them on each side alternating with stippled points. Shoulder-lancet & leaf design. Base-center flower surrounded by a wreath of oak leaves with four acorns on the inside and eight on the outside. Rope border. Design differs from smaller versions in having a double acorn ring and a plain background. Rim flakes, and a one-inch crack extending from rim at center of side opposite side with underfill. Crack shows in Innes book illustration. See 86.184 for related piece from same auction lot.
