DescriptionSphinx with the head of a pharaoh. He's wearing the nemes, the cloth crown that falls on the chest; the tail of this headdress is lying on the back on the lion, but is rather small and faintly sculpted. The neck is very short, so that the face is looking upward. The lion body is lying on a low base, its tail folded against its right side.
