DescriptionBlue transfer design of the residence of General Lafayette forms the center of a rectangular meat plater; borders framing the view are of floral and fruit with leafage; blue shades from dark to light; made for the American market to mark Lafayette's return visit to American cities in 1825-1826. On view at Charleston Museum (Loan #26663) for many years. Has and age crack and chip; neither visible from the front.
