DescriptionFlask covered goblet. Colorless (yellow tint), flared rectangular bowl with canted corners (octagonal shape) engraved floral, scrolls and birds, central medallion of hearts on pedestal and reverse pair beneath sun, solid paneled and faceted stem and square foot with bracketed corners and decorated bottom alternate cut ovals and lines. Cover is a small flask with matching lobes and engraving topped with screw joint for sole faceted steeple stopper.Published ReferencesCorning _Journal of Glass Studies_, IX, 1967, pg. 141, one similar style in Strauss Collection, S2640.
