DescriptionCi-Zhou type vase. Buff-grey stoneware vase covered with white slip on exterior, brown glazed interior. Exterior black painted with figures of two sages, one each in two large reserves. Floral patterns fill remaining areas; floral band and zig-zag patterning on shoulders. Design terminates well above irregularly glazed foot. May have character for "moon."
