DescriptionThe David L. Hack Civil War Photography Collection. A sepia toned Civil War picture of several soldiers posing either standing or sitting in front of a tent. Tree foliage is seen along the top of the photo. The tent ropes are pulled taught on both sides. There seems to be a platform for this tent to keep people off the wet ground. This is Plate 10 from _Gardner's Photographic Sketchbook of the War_ (Hack Collection No. 50).
