DescriptionIn the upper margin are the letters 'J C'. Anglesey stands squarely, his head turned in profile to the right, with a stern and melancholy frown. He wears a top-hat, a coachman's coat like Wellington's in BM Satires No. 15731, but open to show fashionable collar and stock, blue coat and white trousers. In his right hand is his heavy whip, broken; in his left a letter 'To Dr Curtis'.
