DescriptionFine close grained stone head of Buddha. Mounted on a wooden pedestal. Head has a smooth surface. White stucco or pigment remains at places especially around features. Hair is smooth, 'usnisa' spirals smoothly to produce four tiers. Earlobes elongated, eyes downcast, brows gracefully arched, lips slightly pursed. Face full & rounded, very full chin & neck area.
