DescriptionThis object has one openable piece on each side showing a total of four painted images - two on each side. The hollow attachment indicates this object is a pendant, allowing it to be worn. The Virgin and Child with St. George on one side and four apostles or saints on the other. Cultural Names of the icons included: Dïngïl Maryam or Maryam (Mary) , Ïmmälak (Mother of God) and Mädhane Aläm (Christ the Savior).
