InscribedInscription bands in the "thuluth" script: Top band: "Blessing and peace upon you, the prphet of God". The large central band: "God, there is none but He - Muhammad". The narrow first band: "May God be pleased with Abu Bakr and Umar and Uthman and Ali and with all the other companions [of the Prophet]". The second large band: "God, there is none but He-Muhammad". The second narrow band: "Oh God, bless and give peace to their nobilities all the prophets and representatives".

DescriptionThis is a green silk fragment, part of a larger Ottoman tomb cover, decorated with zig-zag inscription bands in the "thuluth" script.
