Collection Info
4x5 transparency scanned on Hasselblad Flextight X1 by Ed Pollard-2010.

The Chrysler Museum’s collection of Modern and Contemporary art spans over a century (1918 to the present) and contains work from around the world. The collection is primarily American artists, including those born elsewhere before migrating to the U.S. Highlights include early European Abstraction, Social Realism, and Abstract Expressionism. Recently the Museum has focused on filling gaps within its holdings, such as works by international artists, women, artists of color, and mediums such as video and fiber.
