European Art before 1945

The Chrysler Museum’s collection of European Art spans from the 14th century to 1945, with particularly robust holdings in Baroque painting and sculpture and 19th century French art. The Museum is currently focused on filling gaps within its holdings, such as work by women and artists of color, as well as objects that speak to global artistic exchange throughout these centuries.
