DescriptionOne of a pair of tile ends. Tiles are about 1/2" thick, have molded design which could be construed as abstract figure of a bird or a facial type. The body (or nose) is in highest relief with outstretched wings (or eyes) on each side. At bottom is a horizontal protrusion which appears to be ledge upon which bird is standing, or part of a mouth of the face. Surface relatively rough; much tan surface coloring (coating of light slip?).
