DescriptionA codex style bowl with upper and lower red rim bands and the exterior painted in a very finely rendered text of cynastic and female ruler glyphs. The glyphs are well painted with lines of varied thickness and fine umber shading. The interior of the bowl, which is one third eroded depicts two images of the Chthonic birds with fish caught in their bills. The paintings have the grace of the fine codex paintings.
