DescriptionMaya polychromed ceramic plate with red, black and gray pigment on a dark orange ground. Large plate with a central scene of a standing figure sacrificing a deer. Framed by multiple red and black rim bands. The reverse of the plate carries a Codex-style sketch of a deity.
