DescriptionThis a rectangular black leather case with brass lock and keys, stamped in gold with "Tiffany & Co. Makers New-York." It is fitted to hold 14 toiletry articles of silver gilt. The case is lined in blue, watered silk. It is missing holders probably meant for a nail file and scissors. The following objects are fastened to the hinged lid: Cuticle Cutter (.2), Hand Mirror (.3), Buttonhook (.4), and Toothbrush Holder (.5). The following objects are in fitted compartments: Hairbursh (.6), Powder Box (.7), Shoe Horn (.8), Comb (.9), Soap Box (.10), Talc Bottle (.11), Perfume Bottles (.12, .13), Nail Buffer (.14), and Clothes Brush.
