He has had two exhibitions organized by the Chrysler Museum, and is represented in the collection by both bodies of work: people drawn to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and those affected by AIDS. This image comes from his 1994 Chrysler Museum exhibition entitled Living with AIDS: A Photographic Journal, which was accompanied by a book of the same name, published by Bulfinch Press. The Vietnam Veterans Memorial work was shown at the Chrysler in 1987. The exhibition subsequently traveled to 11 other venues around the United States. That exhibition was accompanied by a book published by Collins. Twenty-five of his photographs, representing both bodies of work, are included in the Chrysler collection.
