DescriptionEnameled and cameo vase with an oval bottom on a round foot and with a short round neck. Heavily enameled in mauve and somber shades. Decorated with an armored knight on horseback on one side and the castle with a long flowing pendant on the other. Knight is Rene II, duc de Lorraine, who defeated Charles le Temeraire. Background is pale amber. Acid etched linial design on the side.
