DescriptionGray-black sculpture in high relief of Karttikeya (The Young God of War). Standing figure slightly swaying; wearing jeweled bracelets, necklace, belt and crown. Right hand hold mace and left hand rests on a cock (his symbol), which tiny male figure is holding at lower left. Mounted on flat walnut veneerred stand with double platform. Sculpture excavated in 1929 in Orissa.
