Milton Resnick portrays the darker energies present in nature. Between intermingled bursts of cerulean blue and green are densely painted areas of gray and violent flashes of red. The entire surface pulsates like the quick rush of a hunter through a forest or the pounding heartbeat of the hunted. One critic claimed that Resnick was a “Monet for the nuclear age.”Exhibition History"Three Hundred Years of American Art in the Chrysler Museum," Chrysler Museum at Norfolk, Va., March 1 - July 4, 1976.
