DescriptionChalice/punch bowl of blown blue glass. Bowl stone wheel mat engraved. Framed scene of a hunter in a landscape near a split rail fence with hunting dogs. Symbolic scale in upper right. Script-engraved on reverse: "In Libra, or the Scales, now weighs the Sun.."/"An equal balance between night and day..."/"And with September comes the Sportsman's gun..."/"Heard from the dawn of morning's early ray...". Applied clear hollow four inch high waisted stem and a round foot. Polished pontil.
