DescriptionBulbous shaped ewer of glossy Crown Milano opal glass. Enameled with a scene of a young man helping a young woman from a sedan chair, in 17th century dress. On the reverse, figures walking in a country scene. Top and bottom have a thick gilt scroll and a floral design. Attached gilt leaf-like handle. Polished pontil.
