DescriptionSalad bowl of pressed opal glass. In "melon" with a leaf pattern patented by Atterbury on April 23, 1878 for 3.5 years. Leaf motif on bottom. Belknap called this an Acantus Leaf Bowl and illustrated two examples with different rims.
