DescriptionDog is sitting on hexagonal hourglass-shaped base. It looks slightly to its left and down at a cub under the left paw. Has the curly mane and tripartite tail of Fo Dog. Glazed entirely in aubergine and turquoise. Statue hollow; rod hole on dog's right beside tail. Body brown, rather thinly potted. This dog would have been one of a pair or a set -- the female holds the cub under her paw while the male holds a brocade ball.
