DescriptionThis is a sapphire blue blown three mold glass hat, its body shape that of a "Beaver" Hat of the 1820's with a tapering cylindrical crown. Its pattern is close to McKearin G.III-2 with a sunburst in square motif but topped by a diamond motif band. (McKearin G.III-23)
