Label TextO. Winston Link American (1914-2001) HESTER FRINGER'S LIVING ROOM ON THE TRACKS Lithia, Virginia, 1955 L2004.11.100 When Hester Fringer moved into an old house, in Lithia, Virginia, she immediately had a larger window put into the living room so she would have a better view of the passing trains. Here, her grandson, George Poulis, seems to have caught her spirit, as he gives a good wave to Train No. 2. His mother and the family pets take little notice of the rumble of the regularly passing trains, however.
