DescriptionThe David L. Hack Civil War Photography Collection. This picture is a gathering of Generals in front of a tent and flag. Three gentlemen are seated while three others are alternately standing between the seated men. The man to the far left standing has one hand resting on his belt and the other on his sword which is pointed downward while he looks off to the right side. The next gentleman which is seated is shown with a long beard and hat. The third man from the left standing has one hand to his side and the other resting on the back of a chair, while he looks directly forward at the camera. The next man from left, is seated with legs apart and sword in hand pointing downward, as his eyes gaze off slightly to the left side of the frame. The next standing man is wearing a hat and resting his hand on his belt. The last man that is seated, on the right, is looking off to the left with his elbows resting on the arms of the chair. There is a tree and a fence in the background on the right side.
