DescriptionNecklace made of tubular and small round beads with six amulet pendants. This necklace is made of protecting amulets: five eyes of Horus, or udjat-eyes, a symbol of health and integrity - some legends say that Horus lost one of his eyes in his struggle against Seth, but the goddess Hathor could heal it and restore it to the great god - and one stem of papyrus, or wadj, a symbol of youth and firmness - properties of the offspring of papyrus. Such amulets could be worn by the living and by the mummy.
