Here, he has captured the thrilling conclusion of a transatlantic race as the yacht Vesta passes the Needles, a famous rock formation off the coast of the Isle of Wight in the English Channel. Despite its fleet appearance, Vesta lost the race to the speedy Henrietta, which made the crossing in just under fourteen days.
