Collage
The title of this intricate, layered collage references our own Walter P. Chrysler and the family dynasty that ruled New York during the 20th century. The silhouetted figure sits back comfortably from a position of power while the brilliant, geometric background pushes forward, creating an edgy tension between surface and subject.
