DescriptionThis is a Pair of 'L'amour' Pattern Teabowls (.1A, .2A) and Saucers (.1B, .2B). Each piece thinly potted and printed in black with the same scene by Robert Hancock as on the front of the preceding bowl (L2005.10.98), but the foreground of the saucers with a spaniel near a lawn roller above on the saucers the inscription 'RH. Worcester' beside the anchor rebus of Richard Holdship, the reverse of the teabowls with the 'Garden Statuary' adaptation of the spaniel and roller, the center of the teabowls with a swimming swan, and the interior rim of each with a black enamel line.
