DescriptionThis vessel is made of yellow, golden, and brownish pâte de verre (glass paste). Its form is a footed bowl with two ear-shaped handles made to resemble scaled tentacles. On the center front and reverse of the bowl are two large flower-shaped medallions.ProvenanceGifted to the Chrysler Museum of Art by Daniel Greenberg and Susan Steinhauser in December 2016
