DescriptionThis large, open glass vessel is blue in color and is shaped like a basket or bowl. The sides of the vessel are created by a single coil of glass wound 40 times; the coils create a loose openwork “arabesque” near the base while the top 30 coils are more tightly packed and make up the main portion of the vessel walls. The glass has been given a matte finish by means of sandblasting and the rim coil has been polished to a shine.
