DescriptionEliot Dudik conceived of this series as a way of documenting the passage of time in and around his home in southeastern Virginia. The images were made, processed, and printed often within a matter of days, and a new print was released once a week for the entire year, resulting in 52 works (each work is in an edition of seven with two artist proofs). As a sort of time-based narrative, the artist worked to edit and sequence an entire series as new images became available, creating a singular ongoing photographic moment that responds to previous images, ideas, and emotions as they unfold.

ProvenancePurchased from the artist by the Chrysler Museum, June 2020.
