DescriptionDouble door knob. Blown silvered glass, round plain with pewter/German silver mount which is detached from one side revealing round paper label reading: "PATENTED/JANUARY 16/1855/N.E. GLASS CO." The paper label on the one with metal mount can be seen at the stem hole. Separated, but all pieces surviving; came from basement door of the Chrysler Museum.
