DescriptionCarved wooden sculpture made of numerous pieces of wood joined with glue and doweled. Eyes and eyebrows may be glass inlays. This is the head and chest of a painted wooden coffin lid, showing the face of the deceased painted in ochre, wearing a long wig painted in blue and yellow stripes, and a large collar. On the top of the head a scarab beetle is painted.
