DescriptionThe David L. Hack Civil War Photography Collection. This photograph is of a Civil War camp. To the left is a small log cabin and in a row extends several tents. There are men sitting and standing near these dwellings. In the center there is also pictured a man with three saddled horses. There is a pile of firewood in between two of the tents. There are also blankets hanging on a wooden pole of a fence. There is one skinny tree in the foreground and many trees in the background behind the log cabin and some behind the lined up tents as well.This is Plate 10 from _Gardner's Photographic Sketchbook of the War_ (Hack Collection No. 50).
