DescriptionThe David L. Hack Civil War Photography Collection. This photograph shows several soldiers along a dirt path, building a log home. Other men on horseback stand nearby. To the right of the log cabin there is a tent with a woman standing at the entrance of it. Other tents are off in the distance to the left while a cart is just at the edge of the right side of the picture.
