DescriptionHitchcock type side chair. Painted wood grain. Stenciled and painted decoration in yellow and gold. Fruit and floral design stenciled in center middle back slat. Three back slats. Top slat is turned and arched with a bar in the center. Middle slat, the largest, is curved and scrolled and elaborately decorated. Lowest slat is a plain bar. Straight sides. Rush seat curved on rolled front rail. Turned front legs and front stretcher.
