DescriptionTapestry with eccentric wefts. Interlocking bird motif. Fragment of a tapestry strip having yellow, blue-red, blue, yellow, blue & blue-red borders to a section of diagonal tapestry woven birds on yellow, blue-red and blue grounds. Birds are blue, yellow, green & yellow outlined in blue-red, blue, blue-red & blue-red. Good condition, though the ends are ravelling. UV plexiglass covering, 6/80. Unavoidable ravelling (when mounted) attached.
