DescriptionFragment of a tapestry woven cloth having alternating white and red step design. The reds carrying an ascending bird, 1/2 bird, and two bird heads. Stripes alternate with birds right side up and upside down. Long slits between red and white sewed together. Selvedges good, large hole in white upper left. Another hole in red second row down at right. Irregular strip of five motifs added lower left to complete design. Poorly added. Stained. At least a dozen small holes. 25 sewed slits have come apart. Bottom edge cut.
