DescriptionThis is an oil on canvas landscape painting, most possibly depicting the Cornish Coast in England. On the right, in the background a cluster of buildings are guarded by a large tower. Cliffs jet out of the middle ground, near the center of the canvas. In the foreground, the ocean splashes against the rocks. The sky is overcast, but the sun lightens the scene through the clouds.
