DescriptionPokal of clear, gray tinted glass. Ovoid bowl with facet cut above an engraved scene showing the First Partition of Poland. With the figures of Catherine of Russia, Frederick the Great, Joseph II, and Stanislaus II around the map of Poland. Divided by a vine leaf design from the rococo cartouche with the floral bottom engraved: "La Situation de la Pologne en MDCCLXXIII". (The Situation of Poland in 1773). Oval cut band at the rim on a solid stem of faceted knop with air bubbles. Then a nine-paneled cylinder on a round foot with half oval cuts at the edge.
