DescriptionCovered pokal of clear glass. Pokal of clear glass. Thistle shaped on a hollow, reverse baluster, facet cut stem. Plain conical foot with a folded under rim and oval cuts near the stem. Bowl has a solid bottom with facet cuts and stem protrudes (as high kick) into the bottom. Engraved with elaborate scrolls and arabesques framing a scene of a cavalier holding a lady's hand in front of a chateau and an engraving at the top. See inscription. Cover of clear glass. Double dome with three engraved floral sprays on the first dome and a band of oval cuts on the second. Squat hollow panel cut steeple shaped finial.
