Mark: engraved in diamondpoint AL 1877 Gift of Mowbray Arch Society 97.35 This recent aquisition, Cupid on a Panther, is important historically because it was created in the formative years of the English cameo revival movement and belongs to a small group of cameo glasses that were carved at Hodgetts, Richardson & Son for display at the Paris World's Fair in 1878.
